Tim Danaher
Vice President, Business Development
Tim has over twenty-two years of experience in sales, marketing and business development. Prior to joining Definitive, Tim was a principal with Danaher and Associates Inc. which was recently acquired by the firm. Tim’s responsibilities at Danaher and Associates Inc. included implementing the corporate mission statement and plan, creating the marketing and sales strategies and managing the consulting and administrative divisions of the company. His focus at Definitive will be to leverage his sales and leadership experience in the industry to provide an unsurpassed client experience. Tim holds a Bachelors Degree from Carleton University and is a member of the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation (OCRI) and the Canadian Professional Sales Association.

Rick Kubas
Senior Director of Business Development
Rick brings over fifteen years of senior level business development experience to Definitive. During this time, Rick held various sales and business development positions in several industries, including telecommunications and sales tax consulting. Rick’s service oriented approach and understanding of his client’s sales tax challenges enable him to deliver a level of client support that consistently exceeds client expectations for service excellence. His focus at Definitive is to strengthen his client relationships by ensuring that they receive the most comprehensive sales tax management program in the industry. Rick is a long standing member of the Canadian Professional Sales Association.
Dean Osmond
Senior Director of Business Development
Dean brings over 15 years of business development experience to Definitive. Prior to joining us, Dean spent more than ten years in various sales and business development positions in several industries, including financial services, telecommunications and sales tax consulting. Dean’s service oriented approach and understanding of his clients’ sales tax challenges enable him to deliver a level of client support that consistently exceeds client expectations for service excellence. Dean’s focus at Definitive is to strengthen his client relationships by ensuring that they receive the most comprehensive sales tax management program in the industry.
Diane Worden
Senior Director of Business Development
Diane joins Definitive with over 20 years of senior level sales and client services experience. Most recently from the marketing and promotion services industry she has dedicated her career to developing key strategic partnerships and delivering exceptional service to her clients. With a strong understanding of the financial needs of large organizations, Diane will continue to focus on developing key partnerships across a broad range of industries and delivering an exceptional level of service to the firms existing partners.
Allen Rekunyk
Senior Director of Business Development
Allen has over seventeen years of professional business development experience and is an established leader in the sales tax consulting industry where has successfully developed relationships with numerous Fortune 500 companies across Canada and the United States. In the position of Senior Director of Business Development, Allen focuses on providing innovative and effective strategy, leadership and long term planning for Definitive in serving large enterprises helping them develop an effective sales tax solution that best meets their financial management applications and over-all business strategy. Allen has also held various professional and leadership roles for organizations in the financial services industry and is a long standing member of the Canadian Professional Sales Association.
Judy Vineyard
Director of Business Development
In over fifteen years of business development as a legal account manager in Central and Eastern Canada, Judy has developed extensive leadership and professional qualities. Senior executives in the legal and tax industries relied on Judy’s professional acumen and commitment to offer the right consultative solutions and meet their specific industry needs. Additionally, Judy has held various leadership positions in the community such as safety officer, coach and mentor and has presented workshops on successful team cohesiveness. As well as having been a member of Toastmasters, she is a long standing member of the Canadian Professional Sales Association.
Ron Coburn
Director of Business Development
Ron brings over 25 years of business development experience to Definitive. During this time, Ron has held various sales and business development positions in several industries, including sports management, television and radio broadcasting and sales tax consulting. Ron brings a strong sense of commitment to client service and satisfaction, and thrives on building enduring business relationships.
Charlene Zachar
Director of Business Development
Charlene brings over twenty years of business development experience to Definitive, with the past ten years dedicated to the sales tax recovery industry. A seasoned professional in understanding and anticipating client needs, her experience in the ever-changing environment of sales tax compliance make her a valuable resource to the team. Charlene’s focus will be to leverage her experience and knowledge to the benefit of our client base. She is a welcome addition to the Definitive team and will provide the level of support our clients expect.
Azra Taylor
Director of Business Development
Azra brings over ten years of business development experience to Definitive, with a significant focus in tax and accounting services. Her technical knowledge and experience in a variety of industries coupled with a keen understanding of diverse operational systems and processes gives her exceptional insight into client’s sales tax challenges and needs. It is Azra’s commitment to building long term partnerships, as well as developing a high level of trust and support that makes her contribution so valuable to clients and to the Definitive team. She is a former articling student at Deloitte & Touche and holds a BBA degree from Brock University.
Marinela Gheorghe
Business Support Manager
Marinela’s role, as an integral part of the Business Development team, is to meet the high standards of excellence required for their marketing, operational and administrative needs. She brings to the firm over 14 years of experience at the corporate executive level and a wealth of knowledge that ranges from Project Management and Graphic Design to Event Planning and Communications. Marinela’s strong relationship management skills and her ability to offer strategic solutions to operational challenges, combined with her extensive work experience, provides the team with the highest level of support for all of their sales, marketing and client needs. Marinela has a BA in Classical Literature and Philosophy and certification in numerous corporate management courses.
